For You and Your Family
What to Wear
Wear whatever is comfortable for you. You will see everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses.
Welcome Card
If it is your first time, please complete the welcome card that you’ll find in front of your seat and drop it off during offering. Feel free to write down prayer requests or special needs you may have.
Children During Service
Your children are welcome to stay with you during service. However, childcare/ classes are available for children up to 6th grade. The children are dismissed to their classes right before the sermon. The nursery is available for children under 3 throughout the service. We also have a cry room upstairs where you can continue to see and hear the service. Ushers in the back can guide you to these options.
See here for Children’s Ministry details.
After-Service Fellowship
Our hospitality team provides coffee and snacks to enjoy after the service. We invite you to stay and help us get to know you over refreshments.
The Service
The service typically lasts an hour and half beginning at 10AM. These are the various elements that make up our Sunday Service.
Scripture Reading
Music
We sing mostly traditional and modern hymns. Here is a playlist of some of our favorites – Spotify
Catechism
There is a brief time for catechism teaching. We cover a question each week from the New City Catechism. The website and apps contain resources to help understand and memorize the catechism.
Preaching
Communion
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday after the sermon. All believers are invited to the table. The ushers pass out the elements and we wait as someone comes to lead us in communion and we partake together as one body.
Offering
The offering is for regular attendees who consider Grace Bible Fellowship their church home. Please do not feel obligated to give. You can turn in the welcome card during the offering or in the offering box in the back.
